When your eyes are too big for your stomach.

I can’t be the only one, right? When you are almost done with a book and you begin to eyeball the bookshelf, your TBR, your library holds. Which will you read next?!

I am 75% finished with 11/22/63 by Stephen King. First of all, I absolutely love it and can’t seem to put it down. Second of all, as soon as I hit the 50% mark I started scoping out my bookshelf. Cory and I have our honeymoon in a few weeks and I’ve been trying to figure out which books to bring with me. At first, I was just going to load up my kindle, which I promptly did. But then I got to thinking…sometimes a good old paper book on the beach is the best. So I’ve picked out two to bring with me in addition to the kindle.

Will I have time to read all these books? Absolutely not. But it’s like packing ten pairs of underwear for a weekend trip - it’s just in case.

I wanted a nice mix of reads. I’ve got a Greek mythology retelling, I’ve got my current book club pick, I’ve got a romance and I’ve got a more serious selection. I like to have options depending on what I am feeling, because we know I’m a mood reader here. There isn’t a real reason for this blog post except that I took some pretty pictures of books and wanted to share them.
